Education
Lifelong Learning in Focus
In a world that is constantly changing, continuous education, training, and professional development are essential. The CRC (ZRK) offers a broad range of educational programmes in the areas of leadership, risk management, and crisis management, designed to equip specialists and executives with the latest knowledge and competencies in these critical subject areas.
Our courses, workshops, seminars, contact studies, and much more are developed and led by experts, based on the latest scientific findings and best practices, and are accredited and certified by our university partner as required.
The sole responsibility for developing, offering, organising, and delivering education, training, and professional development products is ensured by the School of Excellence for Leadership, Risk- and Innovation Management of the CRC (ZRK) - either independently or in cooperation with its university, non-university, higher education, vocational, or corporate partners and service providers.
Learning from Experts
Our educational offerings range from courses, workshops, and seminars to science and expertise talks, through to rule-based and/or postgraduate [contact] study programmes, which are developed and offered as "state-of-the-art" - also in cooperation with and for organisations and companies - in face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning formats.
The educational offerings cover, for example, subjects ranging from the fundamentals of risk and crisis management, leadership, strategic organisational development, governance, and control through to highly specialised topics such as cyber and ICT security and auditing/rating, security, crisis, and disaster management, supply chain resilience and value management, environmental threats and disaster management, strategic leadership and people management and organisational development and management, cyber and smart economy, resilience and BCM, leadership and digitalisation, society, technology, innovation, space economy, and psychological resilience.
In doing so, we place great emphasis on practical instruction and application of the course material to ensure that what is learned can be directly applied in day-to-day professional life. Small learning groups and interactive learning methods promote exchange and discussion between participants and instructors.
A Community of Learning
ZRK views education as a collaborative process in which the exchange of experiences and perspectives is central. This is why we not only offer educational programmes but also promote networking events where professionals and executives from various fields can meet and learn from one another.
We are convinced that through dialogue and collaboration, innovative solutions to the challenges facing companies can be found and established. This ranges from innovative resilient design of consumer and capital goods, operations research and management, supply and value chain through to leadership and strategic organisational development, governance, and control - naturally also in the context and from the perspective of the second checksum: "security, risk, and crisis management".
