Collaboration fosters innovation

The cluster of the CRC (ZRK) is a dynamic platform that brings together executives, specialists, companies and research institutions around the specialised topic of "risk, crisis and security for business and science in Austria and the European Union". This cluster serves the development of corresponding consumer and capital goods that align with ZRK's remit in both the narrower and broader sense. This facilitates the exchange of specialist knowledge, the development of cooperative projects and the promotion of technology transfer, in order to jointly develop effective solutions for current and future challenges.

Combining strengths, creating synergies

By pooling competencies and resources within the cluster-comprising Communities of Interest, Communities of Practice, Communities of Science and Communities of Knowledge-members can leverage synergies and thereby enhance their innovative capacity and competitiveness. Close collaboration within these networks enables rapid responses to change, the initiation of new research and development projects, and the exchange of best practices. The ZRK cluster offers a unique environment in which interdisciplinary teams collaborate at the intersection of business, science and practice.
