DATA PROTECTION

Privacy Policy

We are pleased that you have shown interest in our website. The protection of your privacy is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions (currently the GDPR and the Telecommunications Act 2003).

Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. We only store the IP address of the connection holder via cookies (see below). Additional personal data is collected on this web portal through electronic forms in which you may enter data to receive any additional information. Your data will be deleted after your enquiry has been processed, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data. ZRK manages the data of its members (individual or corporate memberships). In order to provide the agreed services within the scope of membership, we therefore require your name, email address and consent to receive electronic and physical information materials (such as invitations to events, etc.). You may revoke this consent at any time by sending an email to office1@zfrk.org.

Use of Cookies

On various pages, we use cookies to make visiting our website more attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard drive at the end of the browser session (known as session cookies). Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognise your computer on your next visit (known as persistent cookies). You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available by clicking on this link. To manage the cookies and similar technologies used (tracking pixels, web beacons, etc.) and related consents, we use the consent tool "Real Cookie Banner". Details on how "Real Cookie Banner" works can be found at https://devowl.io/de/rcb/datenverarbeitung/. The legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents. The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide personal data. If you do not provide personal data, we will be unable to manage your consents.

Privacy Policy for the Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. If IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Privacy Policy for the Use of Twitter

Our pages incorporate functions of the Twitter service. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. By using Twitter and the "Re-Tweet" function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and disclosed to other users. Data is also transferred to Twitter in this process. We would like to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how it is used by Twitter. Further information on this can be found in Twitter's privacy policy by clicking on this link. You can change your privacy settings on Twitter in the account settings at https://twitter.com/account/settings.

Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data will not be transmitted to third parties without your specific consent. Where ZRK engages various processors (e.g. publishers, postal fulfilment companies, etc.) to provide its services that require data processing, these parties have a contractual relationship with ZRK which, among other things, governs their data protection obligations.

Storage Duration

The personal data described above is stored for as long as you use the underlying service and will be deleted no later than 6 months after cancellation, unless mandatory legal restrictions prevent this.

Your Rights

You are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been infringed in any other way, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.
