CCREHE | COMPETENCE CENTER FOR RENEWABLE ENERGIES, HYDROGEN AND ECONOMY

The Competence Center sees itself as a link between research and development expertise and stakeholders in industry and politics, as well as the interested public.

The aim is to develop concepts for the integration of renewable energies and hydrogen technologies into existing structures and the conversion of structures to holistic renewable supply and the resulting innovative energy industry business models.

The network also focuses in particular on issues relating to security of supply and the reliability of existing and new infrastructures.

Europe’s economic and social performance depends to a not inconsiderable extent on the security of supply and reliability of its energy systems. In this area of tension, a triad of key challenges is becoming increasingly apparent:

  • Reliability and security of supply
  • Environmental compatibility
  • CAPEX and OPEX

With its network of research and industrial partners, the Competence Center can develop solutions that address these challenges. To this end, strategies and concepts can be developed that represent both an affordable and resilient solution for a wide range of issues.

Our Competence Center has a network of experts for all important topics relating to the portfolio: Renewable energies and hydrogen technologies.

The Competence Center’s tasks include:

  • Positioning the competence center as a visible, accessible, reliable and credible source of information on the integration of renewable energies and hydrogen technologies into existing infrastructures
  • Analysis and conception for the realization of innovative applications and business models in the D-A-CH region
  • Identifying and continuously evaluating (new) technologies for a reliable and resilient supply
  • Research and development in the subject area and knowledge transfer
  • Develop and disseminate best practices on a scientific basis through research, publishing and organizing/participating in congresses, symposia and seminars.
