Education

Focus on lifelong learning

In a world that is constantly changing, continuous training and further education is essential. The Center for Risk and Crisis Management (CRC) offers a wide range of educational programs in leadership, risk and crisis management designed to equip professionals and executives with the latest knowledge and skills in these critical subject areas.

Our courses, workshops, seminars, contact studies and much more are developed and led by experts, are based on the latest scientific findings and best practices, and are accredited and certified by our university partner as required.

The sole responsibility for developing, offering, organizing and implementing the training and further education products is assumed by the School of Excellence for Leadership, Risk and Innovation Management of the Center for Risk and Crisis Management (CRC) – alone or in cooperation with its university, non-university, higher education and technical college or business partners and service providers.

Learning from experts

Our educational offerings range from courses, workshops, seminars, science and expertise talks to rule-based and/or postgraduate [Kontakt]study programs, which are developed and offered “state-of-the-art” – also in cooperation with and for organizations and companies in face-to-face, hybrid and online learning methods.

The training on offer ranges, for example from the basics of risk and crisis management, leadership, strategic organizational development, leadership and management to highly specialized topics such as cyber & ICT security & auditing/rating, security, crisis and disaster management, supply chain resilience & value management, environmental threats & disaster management, strategic leadership & people management & organizational development and management, cyber and smart economy, resilience and BCM, leadership and digitalization, society, technology, innovation, space economy, or psychological resilience.

We attach great importance to the practical teaching and application of the subject matter to ensure that what has been learned can be applied directly in everyday working life. Small learning groups and interactive learning methods promote exchange and discussion between participants and lecturers.

A community of learning

The CRC sees education as a collaborative process in which the exchange of experiences and perspectives is central. That is why we not only offer educational programs, but also promote networking events where experts and managers from different areas can meet and learn from each other.

We are convinced that through dialog and collaboration, innovative solutions to the challenges faced by companies can be found and substantiated. This ranges from innovative resilient design of consumer and capital goods, operations research & management, supply & value chain to leadership and strategic organizational development, management and control – of course also in the context and aspect of the second checksum “security, risk and crisis management”.
