Collaboration fosters innovation
The cluster of the Center for Risk and Crisis Management (CRC) is a dynamic platform that brings together executives, experts, companies and research institutions around the specialized topic of “Risk, Crisis and Security for Business and Science in Austria and the European Union”. This cluster serves the development of corresponding consumer and capital goods that correspond to the CRC’s remit in the narrower and broader sense. This promotes the exchange of specialist knowledge, the development of cooperation projects and the promotion of technology transfer in order to jointly develop effective solutions for current and future challenges.
Pooling strengths, creating synergies
By pooling expertise and resources within the cluster – consisting of Communities of Interest, Communities of Practice, Communities of Science and Communities of Knowledge members can utilize synergies and thus increase their innovative strength and competitiveness. The close cooperation in these networks makes it possible to react quickly to changes, initiate new research and development projects and exchange best practices. The CRC cluster offers a unique environment in which interdisciplinary teams work together at the interface of business, science and practice.
